In Studio
How I create in my in-home studio. Check this page out to see new exploration, fun pictures of me creating, working, and, doing what I do to make the art that I love.
Oil Painting
I started using oils in College at NDSU. I fell in love with the versatility of them, the rich colors, and flexibility I feel when using oils. The longer drying time is an added challenge since I work at home with my kids, so time is of the essence. I think I will continue to learn and grow with this medium. I believe I learn something new with each and every painting I make.
Acrylic Painting
I have not always been a fan of acrylic painting. This is a new found love, for many reasons, but first and foremost I tried it again for the time saving qualities it has. I enjoy the quickness of its drying, allowing me to paint many layers in one day. The colors fade a bit when they dry, but varnish allows me to bring them back to life.
Markets and Shows
You can find me at local markets and shows around the Gallatin Valley. Check my Instagram or Facebook for regular updates.
